Photography has been my passion for most of my life- from when I was a young teenager shooting black and white photographs for fun. Since then I have honed my craft by studying photography, traveling extensively throughout the United States, and simply not letting a day go by that I do not shoot something.
While nature and avian photography are my primary focus, I also enjoy taking photos of people, places, and things. You can usually find me in the Everglades and throughout the State of Florida as I like to capture the true essence of my home state.
Besides the Everglades, I like to photograph the scenery and the wildlife in locations such as Fort Myers/Sanibel, Fort DeSoto/Tampa Bay area, Osceola County, and various locations along the coast.
In recent years I have expanded my portfolio to include the beauty of the southwestern USA. I finally made up my mind one day that life was too short and made up my mind to go see it for myself and bring back images of the spectacular views to share with others.
In the past year I have enjoyed shooting some of the USA's largest and most fascinating cities like Philadelphia, New York City and Washington, D.C. Also in 2009 I was fortunate enough to have my work published in a calendar and in a textbook. |
